“I read mostly history, which I studied in university, and current events. I do the cooking here, which absorbs some of my time, and I also do the cleaning up afterwards. We’re vegetarian and we don’t use cheese or eggs, so all the time I make a vegan entrée. A few of my recipes have been inspired, but many of them come from books. I sometimes re-edit the recipes to be more flowing and I keep a binder of recipes so there’s always something to pick from. I do have some recipes that I’ve downloaded from a couple of websites. There’s no shortage of recipes on the Internet; it’s incredible what is out there.” Alfonso
